Mason Jars and Styrofoam Cups

Happy Tuesday!  Just a quick note/reveal, as you all know by now we have a summer intern and she is FAB.YOU.LOUS.  Now don't go thinking we Calverts are tres too full of ourselves, BUT, this is what my good friend Cindy named our second home many, many years ago now and since I can't think of anything better. . .
We. Are. Going. With. It.
These to-die-for cups will soon be featured at our lake house.  Are they not the cutest EVER???  Thank you, Cindy, for always having the BEST one-liners.  Thank you, Emily for your genius, and thank you Edward for always creating the best photos of all our PRESSING EVENTS products!
CHEERS!
They are almost as cute as the ones Amber did for Mark's Mobile Command Center...LOL!
And they will for sure look great with all the TEXAS till I DIE stuff already at the lake.

I'm still suffering through Chamber of Commerce weather here in the Mountains but I will be back in the store next week.  Until then, the MACKENZIE-CHILDS Flower Market Sale continues...so help yourselves!

Camp Colorado...my home away from home!

DATELINE COLORADO:

Run don't walk to Pier 1!  You will find this swing on sale and you will never regret buying it.  I did this morning and I may never get out.  I have always loved swings but this is my favorite.  And it comes with a spring so you twirl AND you bounce...think baby in sweet contentment.

I am also enjoying a book while I sit in this swing...Karin. I knew I loved Karin's store in Beaver Creek but I am loving her book.  I cannot wait to get her to autograph it for me.  Surprisingly enough it was published on BLURB just like the books we do at PRESSING EVENTS for our customers.

It is not a highly sophisticated book but her story is unique and very enthralling.  I have loved and shopped at her store forever when in town and now I know all about the petite blonde who's store I have often copied in style at my own store in Houston.  Don't miss this small/600sf store if you are ever in Beaver Creek.  She has been there since Beaver Creek began so her's is a success story for sure.

We are off to have dinner with the Cawyers...no not those Cawyers, this time we are meeting Jaime and Jeff's Uncle & Aunt at the Mexican restaurant in Edwards.  I know we will be sure to discuss the blessing that is Colorado in the summertime and how much none of us looks forward to returning to Texas anytime soon.

Though I just swing on the porch while here, they actually hiked Maroon Bells while they were here!

And after not hearing from Holly for a week I received a text saying it was 108 degrees in Atascadero, 114 in Paso Robles and she had lost her phone.  I responded, "Well, now I know why we have not heard from you, you are in H-e-double-hockey sticks with no phone!" Above is a picture I snapped of Mike/Papo with Carly Luv on the swing in their new backyard in Atascadero. So obviously swinging is highly recommended for young and old alike!

Everyone stay cool and be advised something that hardly ever happens is happening at PRESSING EVENTS.  Flower Market is on sale for the whole month of July!!!
